My Story

What does financial freedom mean to you? 

For some, it’s peace of mind.

For me, it meant breaking free from debt and reclaiming peace—for myself and my family.

Not long ago, I was buried in debt—juggling bills, working hard, and still feeling the pressure of financial anxiety. Many nights, I lay awake in a cold sweat, worrying about how to make ends meet. Other nights, I sat at the kitchen table, staring at numbers, searching for answers.

During that season, I leaned on my faith and the support of loved ones. Bit by bit, I began to take control—learning to budget, negotiating with creditors, and most importantly, transforming how I thought about money. It wasn’t easy. There were setbacks. 

But with each small win, I regained hope and built momentum. Eventually, I paid off my debts. I built an emergency fund. I started investing for our future.

That transformation didn’t just change my finances—it changed me. It gave me confidence, clarity, and peace.

That journey sparked a deeper calling:

I’m KC Ugobi—a financial analyst and coach with both real-life experience and professional expertise.

Outside of my corporate role, I work independently with individuals and small businesses, providing coaching, tools, and strategies that foster financial clarity and personal growth.
